Cadogan Financial provides guidance as to how best to create, develop and improve collective investment scheme and asset management sectors.  Each of the following services can be provided individually or in combination.

Ø                Market Analysis: essentially, review of potential for sector creation or of the state of sector development, identifying issues arising and how these could be tackled

Ø               Policy Advice: on how to create or develop or improve a sector or how to apply law and regulations

Ø                Assistance in drafting or revising laws and regulations: governing asset management, funds, funds’ operators and service providers, the capital markets in which funds invest and the sale and distribution of funds including financial advisory regimes

Ø                Capacity building: development of regulatory organisations and their capacity to regulate, licence, monitor and inspect funds, their operators and service providers; provision of training to regulators and to sector participants

Our pre-eminence in our sector is indicated by the fact that we are the only pre-qualified firm selected by The Financial Sector Reform and Strengthening Initiative ("FIRST Initiative") to cover collective investment schemes. FIRST is a significant US$53 million multi-donor programme, supporting capacity building and policy development projects in the financial sectors in developing countries.
